Project 10/20

1. What does MMCC stand for?
MMCC stands for Mount Moriah Community Church – Raleigh. We are the first of six locations birthed from our mother church, MMCC–Farmville, which has faithfully served the community for over 94 years. MMCC–Raleigh was established in 2008 and is part of a growing family of life-giving churches.

2. What are your service times?
Our primary Worship Experience is held on Sundays at 5:00 PM. Yes—5:00 PM is our main service time, offering a unique and “out of the box” worship experience.
We also host Thrive Nights on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, both in person and online.

3. Where are you located?
We are located in Raleigh, North Carolina, at: 1500 Garner Road, Suite B, Raleigh, NC

4. What is the dress code?
Come as you are. Whether you prefer a suit, jeans, or traditional attire, you are welcome here. You may see our Pastor in jeans and Jordans, a suit, or even a robe. While we occasionally unify attire for special services, our culture is simple—be comfortable and come as you are.

5. Do you have a children’s and youth ministry?
Yes. Our “We Got Next” Youth Ministry serves children and youth ages 3 to 19 with age-appropriate, engaging, and biblically sound teaching during Sunday services and Homework Hour during Thrive Nights on Wednesdays.
6. What do you believe?
We believe in the full authority of the Bible, salvation through Jesus Christ, the power and work of the Holy Spirit, and the necessity of living a holy and transformed life. For a complete Statement of Faith, please click here.

7. Is MMCC–Raleigh an affirming church?
We love and welcome all people to worship and grow with us. While we are not an affirming church in terms of LGBTQ+ theology, we are committed to preaching the truth of God’s Word and walking in love with everyone. Our desire is to offer both grace and truth with humility and compassion. We believe God is a God of transformation, not accommodation.

8. Do you offer online services?
Yes. You can worship with us live on Facebook and YouTube every Sunday and Wednesday. We are grateful for e-members from across the nation and around the world. Follow us online and stay connected.

9. How can I get involved in ministry?
We offer many opportunities to serve, including hospitality, media, outreach, and worship arts. Contact our Membership Care Team to learn how you can get connected. We believe everyone has a place to serve.

10. Who is the pastor?
MMCC–Raleigh is led by Lead Pastor Dr. Aaron McNair II, under the covering of Senior Pastor Apostle Aaron McNair Sr., who leads our mother church, MMCC–Farmville. We are part of a growing, vision-driven family of churches.

11. How do I become a member?
Membership is open to all who desire to walk in covenant with our church family. We believe joining a church is a destiny decision, and we would be honored to walk with you in that journey.

12. Is MMCC–Raleigh accountable to a parent organization?

13. How can I give, and what are your expectations for giving?

14. What denomination is MMCC–Raleigh a part of?
While we are not affiliated with a specific denomination, our beliefs, worship, and culture are Spirit-filled and Pentecostal in expression.
